Andrew Hardin was singer-songwriter Tom Russell's right hand man for more than 20 years, touring & recording in the 1980's and early 90's as The Tom Russell Band's fire-breathing, country-rock electric- guitar slinger, producing or co-producing several of Russell's albums on Rounder and Hightone, and, through 2005, touring with Russell as an acoustic duo. Wielding a un-processed, direct- to-the-board Takamine dreadnaught onstage, Hardin balances transparent song support with impassioned soloing that significantly raises the emotional ante of Russell's story-songs.

MASSIMILIANO LAROCCA'S NEW ALBUM FEATURING ANDREW HARDIN IS OUT!
“La breve estate” is the new album from Massimiliano Larocca after his acclaimed debut “Il ritorno delle passioni” that was released in 2005.

Born in Florence Italy, Massimiliano Larocca’s style include a wide range of influences: from italian popular music to classic american folk-rock, from the classic american songwriters like Dylan or Springsteen to the french troubadours like Brassens, from literature to vernacular languages. During a 10 year carreer, the italian songwriter played everywhere in Italy and also in countries like France, Belgium, Scotland and USA (in Austin, during the SXSW Festival).

“La breve estate” will be released on April 15th under Pomodori Music/Venus label. The same day Massimiliano Larocca will start a promotional tour of the album with Andrew Hardin on guitar as special guest.
